Abstract

Covid 19 telah merubah semua aspek kehidupan manusia baik secara fisik maupun psikologis. Institusi pendidikan dan mahasiswa menghadapi situasi baru model belajar secara online. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi stress dan gaya koping mahasiswa selama pandemi. Desain penelitian adalah crossectional study yang dilakukan bulan Desember 2021-Januari 2022, dengan jumlah sampel 52 mahasiswa perawat yang sedang menempuh di Fakultas Ilmu Kesehatan UNP Kediri. Instrument penelitian menggunakan Perceived Stres Scale (PSS) oleh Cohen dan COPE Inventory untuk mengukur gaya koping mahasiswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan jenis kelamin mahasiswa 94% adalah perempuan dengan rentang usia 18-22 tahun sebesar 69%. Stress yang dipersepsikan adalah pada tingkat sedang 83% dengan kecenderungan gaya koping emotional focused coping 11,012. Kesimpuan dari penelitian ini adalah tidak ada hubungan antara persepsi stress dengan gaya koping mahasisa denga p value 0,784. Upaya skrining stress dan pengenalan mekanisme koping harus terus dilakukan oleh pihak ksmpus untuk mencegah kegagalan pendidikan yang akan merugikan mahasiswa, orang tua dan pihak kampus.
